The roof over the second floor has two layers of rigid foam insulation with sleepers to provide an air space for venting.
The housewrap, roof, and windows all are getting put on in pieces as weather and time permit. To deal with working on the the upper parts of the house (and for the stucco contractor to do the same), I needed to rent scaffolding.
We had a professional roofer install the finish roofing while we were away at a graduation. Except for the turret roof, which I am finishing myself.
The stucco and stone is the next big hurdle. Meanwhile, I am working on some bits and pieces inside. For instance, I finished the plumbing for the laundry room so we could get our washer and dryer back! The spiral stair parts are painted and in place. The stairwell from the first floor to the second floor is in progress. We're getting there! Bits & pieces. Bits & pieces.
